Kim & Devan | Married | St. Claude, Manitoba

Kim and Devan's wedding was so sweet. The ceremony took place right in her parents yard, it was absolutely gorgeous. There were many moments that made the day extra special. Kim's aunt married them and this made the ceremony intimate and eventful. Kim asked her grandmother to recite the scripture 'Love is patient, love is kind'. This was also read at my wedding and is one of my absolute favourites.

After the ceremony and family photos we snuck off to take portraits. These were also all taken on her parents property. Afterwards they had dinner set up in the shop and everything was very relaxed and casual. All the guests throughly enjoyed the evening. It was also extra lucky that the weather was beautiful and the rain stayed away.

Kallie & Matt | Married | Club Regent Canad Inns, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Kallie & Matt were married in May. Their wedding day was nothing less than perfect. Kallie and the girls had a suite in the hotel to get ready in while the men were at Matt's parents place. The bride and groom first saw each other when Kallie was walked down the isle by her step father. Portraits were done in a nearby park after the ceremony and we all made it back just in time for cocktail hour.

Kallie and Matt make such a sweet couple. Some things from their wedding day that I loved were Kallie eating chicken fingers and fries while the rest of us enjoyed a fancy served meal. Kallie and her best friend Lindsey, those two honestly have a friendship that could move mountains. Last but not least, I loved how emotional the wedding was due to the fact that Kallie is originally from Texas and shortly after the wedding her family would have to leave. This made many moments during the day bittersweet.

Thank you Kallie and Matt for having me at your wedding, I can't wait to capture more photos of you soon!

Pam & Matt | Married | Fort Gibraltar, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Pam & Matt's wedding was back in April at Fort Gibraltar. The rain was on and off all day but that didn't stop us from capturing amazing photos. The morning started off with the girls at The Loft, downtown while the men were getting ready at Pam & Matt's house. The bride and groom decided to stay traditional and see each other for the first time when Pam's dad walked her down the isle. After some photos around the fort we headed to King's Head Pub for some lunch. The reception took place back at the fort. The evening consisted of hatchet throwing during cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and all around fun.

Something in particular I loved about Pam and Matt's wedding was their exchange of vows. They each wrote their own vows and this really helped show all the guests the love between them. Another moment that had me in tears was Matt's father's speech. He brought emotion to the entire room.

Thank you so much to Pam and Matt for asking me to take your wedding photos.
